[ Overview ]

AGC Express was the booking platform for delegates attending the Nigerian Bar Association's Annual General Conference 2025 in Enugu: hotels near the venue, airport pickups, car hire and local tours. I was the tech lead, responsible for the site from architecture to booking flows and payments.

Thousands of lawyers travel to the NBA conference each year, and most need somewhere to stay, a way to get around and something to do in the evenings. AGC Express needed to sell all of that from one site, on a fixed deadline: the conference date.

Hotel nights, rides and tours each have different inputs (dates, guests, pickup points, times), but delegates should only ever see one cart and one checkout.

[ What I did ]

From the design file to a site the client runs.

  1. 01

    Three booking types, one search

    A homepage search with tabs for hotels, rides and cars, built on WooCommerce and the Tourfic booking plugin, so every listing type ends in the same cart.

  2. 02

    A checkout for delegates

    Customised the checkout to collect what the organisers needed: NBA branch, arrival and departure dates, accommodation category, airport pickup and an emergency contact.

  3. 03

    Payments

    Configured Paystack for Nigerian debit and credit cards, and tested the flow end to end.

  4. 04

    Content at scale

    Around 25 hotel pages and over 20 tours, each with galleries, amenities and distance to the venue, plus filterable car listings.
